| Controversies | • In 2015, Arya said that when he asked Vishal how come he was releasing his film, Aambala, Vishal gave a controversial reply, “Yevvana irundhaalum naan vettuven.” It went viral on the internet, after which Vishal clarified statements by his dear friend Arya to calm it down. • He has been alleged of dispraising the Tamil film industry in an international platform at an event arranged by a Malayalam network in Dubai.
