Ben Platt or Benjamin Schiff Platt is an American who is renowned as an actor, singer, and songwriter. As a child, he started his acting career in musical theatre. In the year 2006, Ben was seen in the productions of The Sound of Music. Later, in the year 2012 to 2015, he starred in The Book of Mormon. Since the year 2015 to 2017, Ben has gained prominence for originating the title role in Dear Evan Hansen, the Broadway coming-of-age musical.
