She was born in middle class Christian family, her father is belongs to Maratha Christain family and her mother is Punjabi Hindu community.
She was completed her primary schooling from St. Xavier’s High School, Mumbai and fro higher education she enrolled in K.J. Somaiya Juniior College of Science & Commerce, Mumbai and completed her college B.Com degree with good marks.
She showed great bonding with her nephew, Shawn.
Since her childhood, she was fascinating towards acting and dancing due to which she got chance to play role as a child actress in film.
She was met first time to actor Karan Singh Grover (her ex-husband) on the TV serial shooting “Kasautii Zindagi Kay” in 2005.
Later, they started dating to each other and Karan proposed her for marriage and she accepted her boyfriend proposal and on 9 April 2012 she tied knot with Karan Singh Grover.
But they did not manage her relationship for long time, they got divorced and separated in 2014.

She started her acting career at the age of 10 as a child artist in film Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat in 1997.
She also appeared in various films as a child actress Akele Hum Akele Tum, Raja Ko Rani Se Pyar Ho Gaya and Kuch Naa Kaho with actress Aishwarya Rai.
Jennifer was played the role of Piya in the TV show “Shaka laka Boom Boom” in 2002.
She had done many famous TV serial and gained huge fame from it including “Kasauti Zindagi Kay”, “Karthika Kahin To Hoga”, “Sangam”, “Kkusum” and “Dil Mill Gayye” is based on romantic doctors story.
