Kunal Verma made his acting debut in the television show Tujh Sang Preet Lagai Sajna in 2008 which was aired on Star Plus. Ekta Kapoor was the producer of this show in which he played the role of Yugandhar.

In 2010, he appeared in the television show named Tera Mujhse Hai Pehle Ka Naata Koi in which he played the character of Rohan on the Sony channel. In 2011, Kunal Verma portray Laxman in the serial Devon Ke Dev … Mahadev on the channel Life Ok.
