Saumya Tandon was born on 3 November 1984 (age 34 years; as in 2018) in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India. She did her schooling from St. Mary’s Convent School, Ujjain and enrolled in Fore School of Management, New Delhi to complete her Masters of Business Administration (MBA).

Saumya Tandon belongs to a Hindu Family. Her father, Dr B.G. Tandon, was a writer, professor, and HOD (English Department) at Vikram University, Ujjain. He had written 17 books on English Literature. Not much is known about her mother. Saumya also has an elder sister.

Career
Saumya made her debut in 2006 with the TV serial, “Aisa Des Hai Mera.” She played the character of Rusty Deol. In 2007, she made her debut in Bollywood with the role of “Roop” in the film “Jab We Met.”
