She is studying in 10th standard. Sugandha had a deep interest in music right from her childhood and she began learning music at the age of 5. Initially, her mother helped her with the basics of music, thereafter, she joined Anand Sharma’s musical classes to learn classical singing. In 2013, she moved to Mumbai and participated in the music reality show “Indian Idol Juniors.” She reached the top 5 round in the show and was subsequently eliminated from the show. After her participation in Indian Idol, her family shifted to Mumbai. In 2019, Sugandha participated in “Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs” and emerged as the winner of the show.

She was presented with a coveted trophy and a cash prize of Rs. 5 lakh.
