Tilak Varma was an excellent cricket player since his younger age, when he enrolled in the cricket academy his coach Salam Bayash saw talent in him and starts giving him training, he provide Tilak with everything which is necessary for a cricketer during training.

He further added that once he broke his cricket bat and his father was not able to buy him a new bat, he continued to play with the same broken bat and score the highest run in the under-16 tournament with that broken bat.
