Before marrying Ritu Singh, Ravi got engaged to the veteran Indian actress Amrita Singh in 1986, but due to their personal conflicts, they call it a quit. [1] In 2008, Ravi and Ritu were blessed with a daughter, Aleka Shastri. After almost 22 years of their marriage, Ravi filed for divorce in the Bandra Family Court, Mumbai in 2012. After the divorce, Ravi left his home in Worli, Mumbai and shifted alone to his home in Churchgate, Mumbai.
