Sharma joined the Modeling agency “Elite Model Management” in Mumbai, and did many walked ramp for designer “Wendell Rodrick” in Lakme fashion Week also in different brands such as Silk & Shine, Whisper and Fiat Palio.
She also enrolled in acting course for to grab the film opportunity and then she got offered in her debut movie Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi with famous actor Shah Rukh Khan by the director Aditya Chopra in 2008.
In 2010, she appeared in romantic comedy film Band Baaja Baarat with starred Ranveer Singh which receives the positive review by the audience.

During the death of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam for his praying she posted a post on Twitter with wrong spelling of his name “ABJ Kalam Azad” then she was criticized by the users on twitter and she removed the post and new one was post but again she wrote “APJ Kalam Azad” then she was post 3rd time correct one “Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam”
One new conflict was born between her relationships with Virat Kohli when his boyfriend invested big amount of money for Anuska’s film Bombay Velvet which was failed at the box-office. Virat was anger on her about the loss of money and she also upset for her film, then Virat Kohli unfollowed her on social media including Twitter and Instagram but after some time they resolved all the matter and got back together.

Anushka was born in Ayodhya (UP) but grew up in Bengaluru and completed her schooling and college studies in the same place then she moved with her friend in Mumbai for modeling.
Since her childhood she wanted to become a Model not an actress, for her dream she went in Mumbai with her friend Zoheb who also has a dream to become a model.
But her friend could not make his career in modeling because no one selected his for campaign then he was returned to his home after his communication with her is almost lost due to long distance and busy in her work.
Her love story was started with Indian Cricketer when they worked for commercial advertisement then Virat Kohli was fallen in her love and they start dating to each other and become a close friend.
They spotted together in various places and her friendship turns into love and both of the couple got married in Italy on 11 December 2017
