Neha was born on 6 June 1988 (32 years old; age as in 2020) in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, India and brought up in Delhi, India. She sings songs in two different languages like Hindi and Punjabi. She has sung the national anthem at Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) along with Daler Mehndi and with a member of Indian Ocean band Rahul Ram. Neha also competed in the season 2 of the Indian reality show, Indian Idol. Apparently, she has also been seen on the panel of judges in the season 10 of the same reality show.

Career
Neha Kakkar did her schooling at New Holy Public School, Delhi. She started singing at the age of four. In 2006, she took part in the popular singing reality show Indian Idol Season 2 and was among the top 10 finalists. In 2008, she released her first album Neha – The Rock Star in which Meet Brothers gave music to her songs.
In 2009, she made her Bollywood debut with the theme song of the film “Blue.”
